Unlike the Apollo moon landings, the bizarre collision between cheese and music that was the Fondue Fun-Do actually did happen earlier this week. And just in case any of you had your doubts, Rosana has just sent me the pictures to prove it. Note the authentic Seventies orange glow throughout!
Ali the Perc and Rachel:
Poor Sam Allez-Allez, bent double to avoid banging his head:
Thanks to everyone who came down; hopefully there are no cheese-related digestive difficulties to report. Especially thanks to Sam and Steve from Allez-Allez for teaming up with us to put the evening together. And for anyone who missed out on the fondue fun, the St Moritz restaurant on Wardour Street in Soho is open Monday to Saturday, serving a selection of fondue, raclette, rosti and other tasty Swiss delicacies: for more information please see their website (and watch out for the horn!).
Well what can i say apart from that was rather entertaining, if not slightly surreal.
Quite a quirky little venue ain’t and as expected James and Sam provided us with the heavenly beats to accompany our delicious cheese fondue….Mmmm scrummy !
The crowd were cool and friendly and it was really nice to be able to catch Holden play in such an intimate environment.
Hopefully we’ll have more obscure events like that in the future and collaborating with the Allez Allez boys is always a good thing.
Next stop Eat your own ears @ Indig02. 🙂
