In The Loop
You had best hold onto your hairpieces tomorrow night down in Brighton, when Hard Islander Mr Nathan Fake will be making a fly-by visit to launch the annual Loop festival with a shock pop-up gig at the recently rebranded and refurbished Jam venue (formerly known as Water Margin):

The venue’s new Jam incarnation is so fresh that no one seems to know about it, and they don’t even have a website yet; but there is at least a Facebook group to prove the event’s existence, so if you do head down to 9-12 Middle Street tomorrow night I assure you you won’t be disappointed. You might even see us there if we can face the drive from London! Support comes from local pastoral soundscapers Grasscut, Brighton’s official ambassador for the alt-techno underground Lee Smith of the Kliks night, and fellow scribe-cum-DJ The James Kendall.
Tickets are already on sale from WeGotTickets for the main Loop festival, which runs over the weekend of July 10th-12th in Brighton’s Victoria Gardens. And with a line-up that includes Squarepusher, Zomby, The Field, The Glimmers, Joakim & The Disco, Mum, Telepathe, The Juan Maclean, Tuung, Esser, The Matthew Herbert Big Band, Fujiya and Miyagi and Riton, it could provide just the excuse you need to book yourself a weekend by the sea…
